I admire your leadership and ambition. However I see some potential problems. When we start up a company, several things we need to ask ourselves:
0. Who are we? - the team.
1. Who are the customers? - how big is the market? is it flat or is it growing?
2. What is our strength (also weakness)?
Do we have better technology or do we have a better business model? How do we develop our core competencies?
3. What is the focus? After we figure out 1 and 2, it should not be too difficult to answer.
I have worked for several startups. Some succeded, some failed. The succesful companies had very good teams, good mix of business talents and technical experts. They also knew exactly what they wanted to do - very focued. In contrast, the companies that were not doing well wanted to conqure the whole world. Believe it or not, they had even better teams, collectively. They didn't succeed because they were just not focused.
After the startup companies are well established, there are many ways to expand them. We can talk about that in a different topic.
I strongly believe that you have a good chance to succeed and wish you the best luck.
