There are so many things US government can do to reduce consumption of natural resources. Though they can be pushed harder and further, improvements on resource efficiency are made all over the places, evidenced by alternative energy technology investments, tougher gas mileage requirements on new cars, tax credits for using solar energy at homes, incentives to increase vehicle occupancy, allowing employees to work at home, on and on.
Anyway, my intention is not to debate with you how much US should do to reduce resource consumption. What I want to say is that, no matter how bad US is doing in this regard, we should not simply reject its call for better usage of natural resources. I just don't like to see people shutting down others like 你有什么资格来....., 先管好你自己吧. 古人还说”有则改之, 无则加勉”.
Why do we always have a victim mentality with ? Can we take a positive and constructive approach?
