再请问：
(1) 关于配偶是否一同海龟：我想可能影响的是搬迁费、房贴之类，
但是不确定，所以想问一问大家的经验。比如有些两地分居的
海龟，老婆孩子在美国的话，恐怕在各种津贴上会吃亏？

Actually, some of the expat packages include something call "Loss of Compensation" for spouse for the ones moving their entire family to overseas. It is all part of the negotiations. What you need to do is to talk to your prospective employers about this loss and come up with some kind of request to be compensated. I am pretty sure most of the true US companies will consider a hardship, if you have to seperate your family into two continents. Therefore, they typically can pay either more frequent trips for you to visit your family, or move your family to China.

As some answered, the major differences are equalizations, hardship allowances, housing, transportation, trip to US, kids educations. Those costs could add up to 150 - 300% MORE than your basic compensations depending on your level.

(3) 工资估计是在香港发。无语朋友说到有免税问题，可否简单介绍
一下工资在哪边发最理想

Hmm??? I want to understand that too. I don't see any benifits being paid from HK. Why not just directly from US?
