Experience/Knowledge required/preferred:


·Excellent customer service skills

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·Good problem solving and analytical skills

·Ability to remain calm and courteous in periods of stress

·Ability to work on several problems simultaneously

·Ability to work with broad range of experience levels

·Ability to make effective presentations and do general documentation

·Maintain high level of technical knowledge and HDS process through training, research and self-study

·Demonstrate leadership ability

·Demonstrate strong investigative and troubleshooting skills

·Organized/strong administrative skills

·Willingness to travel, as required

·Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Marketing (or equivalent degree)

·Ideally minimum 2 years work experience with customer service support for PCs or in a customer service role

·Deep knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and applications

·Deep knowledge of internet email application (e.g. Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, etc.)

·Working knowledge of LAN/WAN networks

Experience with an incident tracking system

Language Requirements:
Fluent English, Mandarin and preferably Japanese



Key Responsibilities:


Responsible for supporting the Help Desk Services organization to ensure services are delivered to meet customer business needs and expectations. Acts as the knowledge link between other Referral teams, the Knowledge Management Team, Tier 3 agencies, the Transition Team and Help Desk Operations. Provide support for escalated issues related to applications or services contained in the scope of support, and provide immediate assistance to HDS Technologists when requested, normally while the customer is on the phone. Referral members are aligned with an enhanced and specialized skill set that allows them to be utilized as a SME (Subject Matters Expert) within HDS and throughout the organization. Job is performed with minimal supervision.
