i like steve's phylosophy and i believe it really works perfectly with our classical chinese phylosophies.

the key is to know what you really care about and stick to it (hopefully not about material possessions) and be able to look through all the clouds of other factors...then the fun is within the process of chasing it, not when you "fulfilled" your objectives. If you are the kind of guy defined your fun as the moment counting all the money you made, then you always have more to lose...that would become your burden
