Purpose of the job:
Sell specialized products or solutions to financial markets, business owners and end-users, building on reputation as a business, markets or technology expert.
Main Responsibilities :
Selling set of products to a defined market segment, possibly in a predefined territory. Cross-channel function, building on expert knowledge to target client ba<x>se, recognize client needs and propose solution. Might have specialist sales target for liquidity/ usage relating to a set of products. Have own sales targets. Pro-active in developing opportunities.
Delivers recurring and outright revenue, secures liquidity/ usage growth on selected products, generates new opportunities, follows and develops opportunities and leads provided by other sources, provides domain expertise relative to the customer segment (expert in markets-ba<x>sed product knowledge)
Ensures the effective handover of accounts to the account management team post set up, gathers feedback from the customer
Plans the approach with the account manager, can become the product champion.
Competencies and Qualifications Desired
Bachelor degree or above
Prior experience selling or working within city commercial banks, financial institutions with particular focus on FX, MM, RMB Bond and Fixed Income instruments
Has 3 to 5 years work experience in the financial markets and is familiar with the regulatory environment in China
Customer experience on trading, broking, buy side, international bank etc. Have capability on people relating, product result and fast learning
Can communicate in English effectively
