• Scheduling of tasks and allocation of work to developers and ensuring that these are being carried out effectively and efficiently.
• Supervision of work that's carried out by the developers (quality and process).
• Monitoring of progress and reporting of same to the Development Manager and Project Management.
• Identifying and pursuing improvements to the software development process.
• Ensuring that Configuration Management processes and procedures are sufficient and adhered to.
• Ensuring that any 3rd-level support responsibilities are carried out effectively and in a timely manner.

• Excellent academic record.

• Strong track record in the delivery of software based solutions.
• Strong understanding of software systems, development issues, methodologies, and processes within a professional software development practice.
• Strong ongoing technical/development background including 3-6 years experience programming in c#
• At least 1 year of line management experience
• Educated to degree level or evidence of an equivalent level of technical competence.
• Strong track record of promoting improvement within their sphere of influence.
• An understanding of the financial markets and the requirements of participants within those markets.
• An understanding of post trade confirmation systems.
• An understanding of agile development methodolodies
• An understanding of the NGTx technology and architecture
