• Handle the system administration of the Unix Server environment in China.
• Handle the system administration of the VMware platforms in China.
• Handle the local project implementation on Unix/VMware perimeter
• Handle system upgrades and migrations, in accordance with latest technology trends and SG global standards.
• Work under pressure and fast-paced environment to resolve issues quickly and ensure systems are up-to-date with the latest patches.
• Create and maintain technical documentation as well as training of users as and when required.
• Install/Maintain/Support Unix based servers in China.
• Work in close relationships with other GTS Unix administrators, to ensure Regional coherency of Unix set ups and the leverage of work globally done on Unix systems.
• Work in a regional team and be ready to support other locations
• Other ad hoc tasks / relevant responsibilities as assigned by the management
Requirements：
• Understanding of Active Directory
• Good Knowledge of IBM Pseries servers and AIX
• Strong Knowledge of Redhat Linux
• Good knowledge of VMware infrastructure
• Scripting experience (Unix shell & Perl)
• Windows/Database/Storage knowledge would be a plus.
• Have commitment and a strong team spirit, both locally and regionally.
• Be willing to work in a multinational environment.
• Possess self management skills and initiative to work proactively.
• Have strong commitment in order to work long hours.
• The ability to learn on the job and be open to technologies evolutions.
