Job Title: Key Account Manager
Location: Shanghai
Reports to: Chief Sales & Service Officer
General Description:
-A mature sales person with a track record of success in opening and developing major ITC opportunities. A good understanding of the automotive suppliers’ market, process value chain and with a wide set of contacts at senior level.
-Personally contribute to ensure a profitable, growing, revenue stream whilst acheiving high levels of customer satisfaction at the executive/sponsor/stakeholder level.
-The individual must show a strong knowledge of how our customers businesses work, he/she must have a good grasp of business processes/operations and must be capable of putting together good business arguments and justifications at board level.
-The individual should be a ‘deal maker’, a mature individual able to conduct him/herself at any level within the account up to and including the CEO level and be capable of achieving ‘trusted advisor’ status. The individual must be able to develop sound commercial propositions, negotiate and sell new ideas (thought leadership).
-The individual will have highly developed interpersonal skills, be politically astute and must be articulate in both the spoken and written word.
-The individual will be accountable for key aspects of the relationship between the client and his/her team in company, therefore the individual needs to be skilled in managing both direct and virtual teams.
-Ensure the Accounts develop over time and that company becomes/continues to be a strategic partner in respect of ITC services.
-Develop and maintain a trusting relation with the customer. Support in defining the sales strategy for the Greater China region in conjunction with Local Executive management and Global Account teams.
-Any other duties, as may be required by your manager for the successful performance of your job.
Work experience requirements:
-Experience in the management of large multi-national IT and TC services accounts. It is an essential requirement for SAP knowledge. Experience in other services include Managed Desktop, Managed Infrastructure and Network Services
-Ability to develop peer to peer relationships with key executives across the organization.
-Thought Leadership skills for the development of innovative business solutions with International experience.
-Ability to manage direct and international virtual teams.
-Strong planning and time management skills.
-Strong understanding of international basic business principles and metrics.
-Experience of working in dynamic environment
-Dynamic and able to work operationally independent whilst always remaining part of the Grater China Sales Team.
-Virtual team management experience.
Personal Characteristics: Precise, disciplined, honest, methodical, and flexible.
Desirable Skills:
-Degree or Equivalent with 5 years experience in similar roles.
-Languages: English, Mandarin. German an advantage.
