>The 8bit Consumer & Industrial team is a critical and exciting part of the 8bit Operation within the Microcontroller Division . It is responsible for the definition and drive behind next generation 8bitMCUs and successful outbound marketing to aggressively grow our business much faster than the market in a highly competitive $5Bn market

>Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations
>The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful global launch of new 8bit Microcontrollers and for conceptualizing, planning then co-ordinating campaigns within the Asian region.
Responsibilities will include:
>* Liasing with New Product marketers and Design at product definition stage to identify value proposition
>* Working closely with Marketing Communications to create the theme for a launch aligned to 8bit MCU strategy and messaging.
>* Co-ordinating a large team to execute all aspects of the launch on time and to budget
Specific activities include:
>- Web marketing
>- Documentation
>- Advertising
>- Training
>- Internal communication
>- reference designs
>- Distributor training
>- Price setting
>- Alpha customer activity
>- Development tools
>- software
>- Press activity
>
>At all times ensuring activities are on time and on message and on budget.
>* Identifying areas for campaigns, that go beyond product specific activities. These could be market or channel orientated. Developing global marketing plans around these campaigns, including detailed budget planning, then assembling and managing global matrixes teams to execute
>Specific Knowledge/Skills
>The successful candidate will have:
>* A scientific/electronic OR business/marketing undergraduate degree
>* An MBa is preferred
>* Experience in Product Marketing
>* Experience in Marketing Communications a plus
>* Outstanding communication skills
>* Ability to comfortably deal with many levels within an organization
>* Ability to matrix manage through positive influencing.
>* Fluent in English, 2nd language is preferred
>* Possess behaviors including urgency, curiosity, a desire for success(personal and professional), a strong work ethic, ambitions for future people management, tenacity, enthusiasm and a positive outlook.
