Job Responsibilities:
• Provide, as a key member of our Architecture Team, technical leadership and innovation in the design and development of CDC products.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of architects, designers and expert programmers in our China development center.
• Monitor, learn and teach others the latest technologies and how to best use those technologies and techniques to develop software.
• Directly participate in the development of our products to ensure consistent progress and provide the technical oversight to ensure marketable solutions are being properly developed.
• Write documentation on software design and architecture.
Qualification:
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering degree or equivalent experience/background.
• 4 to 6 years of solid experience designing and architecting enterprise software applications available across a WAN.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills using both English and Mandarin Chinese.
• Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle and structured software development practices.
• Experience with enterprise software design, development and implementation.
• Experience and knowledge in the fields of Warehousing, Distribution, Logistics and Manufacturing (especially Process Manufacturing such as Life Science, Chemicals or Food & Beverage) is preferred.
• Experience and demonstrated skill with either Java or C#.NET.
• Experience in Web Development (web services, xml, ASP, .NET) is a plus.
• Willingness for extended travel between the US and China is a must.
