Title: Senior Research Scientist – Search & Advertising
Job Location: Beijing, PRC
Key Responsibilities
§ Apply probabilistic, machine learning and data mining techniques to build models to improve relevance, revenue, and user experience
§ Deep dive into the data to understand and apply patterns, while maintaining a sense of the big picture
§ Work closely with colleagues on the engineering team to put your research results into action
§ Provide thought leadership to guide the direction of Yahoo! R&D Center
Title: Senior Computational Linguist – Search & Advertising
Job Location: Beijing, PRC
Key Responsibilities
§ Working with engineers to define the methodology for identifying key linguistic information out of piece of text
§ Proactively working with other local and remote team members for the best quality of the output, even if the quality may not be pre-defined
§ Demonstrating strong ownership and passion about the project which already started and/or bring prototype to production
Title: Senior Research Engineer – Search & Advertising
Job Location: Beijing, PRC
Key Responsibilities
§ Rapid prototype and proof-of-concept development
§ Develop research tools and libraries, platforms for distributed computing, algorithm evaluation, and data processing
§ Scale new products and features to meet production requirements, measure and fine tune performance metrics
Title: Senior Architect/Evangelist – Search & Advertising
Job Location: Beijing, PRC
Key Responsibilities
§ Architect highly reliable, scalable, extensible, maintainable, and operable next generation global advertising serving systems
§ Work closely with the engineering, product management, and research teams in different geographical locations to define and architect features and fine tune performance metrics
§ Help define and drive global architecture standards
Title: Senior System Engineer – Search & Advertising
Job Location: Beijing, PRC
Key Responsibilities
§ Design and implement highly reliable and scalable distributed matching and serving systems
§ Work closely with research scientists to bring the latest search technology and state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms to a highly scalable production environment
§ Fine tune the system for global deployment to improve regional performance metrics
Title: Senior Software Engineer – Search & Advertising
Job Location: Beijing, PRC
Key Responsibilities
§ Independently working on assignments and/or requirements defined by project lead
§ Proactively working with other local and remote team members for the best quality of the output, even if the quality may not be pre-defined
§ Designing, implementing and testing a project from end-to-end
Title: Senior Software Engineer – Search & Advertising
Job Location: Beijing, PRC
Key Responsibilities
§ Using state-of-the-art machine learning technology, text and language analysis, and software design principles to build and enhance content classifiers to categorize billions of documents accessible on the web
§ Working with the international web search team in the US to advance our core search technology for international markets
