Manages 7 x 24 x 365 supply chain center for Dell global operations.
Works on Day Shifts - managing day to day operations of the supply chain center
Liaise with worldwide supply chain groups and initiatives
Conducts customer tours of the supply chain center.
Manages all center metrics and reporting
Motivates and manages team, as well as internal partners to deliver results
Drives integration of new programs / corrective actions / process enhancement into the SCNC by working closely with peer organizations
Focuses on leading the team and establishing the strategic direction
Drives the business through enhancements of tools and business processes
Understands financial impact of decisions made
Works with peers to encompass needs of larger organization
Qualifications
Possesses Supply Chain or business related degree
8-10 years related experience
BPI or 6 Sigma certification will be a plus
Minimum 5 years experience in people manager role in an operations related environment
Strong executive presence and presentation skills
Strong motivator and ability to build effective team
