Position: Supply Chain Manager
• Ensure procurement requirements are represented in overall program schedule and other core team members understand such requirements.
• Escalation point for PG to Global Procurement commodity team.
• Establish and manage procurement extended teams.
• Ensure material and manufacturing capacity plans meet platform volume requirements.
• Lead cross functional transition planning at system level to ensure COS of current and new products during transition. Includes understanding lead times and system cost drivers to assist in last time buy planning.
• Identifies and implements opportunities for Supply Chain Improvements.
• May drive specific process improvement initiative for entire Procurement organization.
Sustaining Progam Support:
• Ensure Supply Chain (both demand and supply processes) are functioning accordingly.
• Manage necessary revisions to ensure continuity of supply at all times.
• Plan the end of life of program based on leadtimes and certainty of replacement programs.
• . Strong Supply Chain Visualization, Material and Capacity planning skills.
• Working knowledge of system level commodities, supply chains, and development processes.
• Working knowledge of ***'s Phase Review Process (PrP).
• Ability to manage Operational and Strategic activities concurrently.
• Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, to a broad audience and Management levels.
• Ability to manage extended teams and meet deadlines.
• Skilled in MS Office products.
• BS Degree or Equivalent with 6-8 years of related experience in Supply Chain, Procurement or Operations.
• Key Competencies: Command Skills, Drive for Results, Building Effective Teams, Business Acumen, Dealing with Ambiguity
