Position: Software Development Manager
This position will work directly with QA, product designer and customer support. Need to have managed about 10 direct reports with preferable experience working in a global company. The background should also include software development methodologies, experience developing and releasing software. Solid understanding of CAD/AEC software is strongly desired.
Role/Responsibilities:
• Work with the team to set team goal, and lead the team to achieve it
• Coach team members and help them grow up
• Lead software development projects, deliver high quality software that delights our customers on schedule
• Oversee and coordinate software development, including design, coding, debugging, and maintaining.
• Coordinate cross functional groups, for example, other software development teams, product design, QA, and project management.
• Recruit and manage a strong, highly motivated, shared responsibility team
Requirements:
• B.S. or M.S in Computer Science or Engineering with at least 5 years software development experience.
• At least two years of technical management experience in Software Company managing development teams with at least 10 people.
• Software development experience in C++ and .Net.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and English fluency
• Superb skills in supporting junior, mid, and senior level developers
• Experience with CAD/AEC software is a plus.
