Title: Sr. Technical Operation Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
Manage the operations of the mainframe environment
Ensure that the z/OS system is IP Led and operational at all times
Manage the system console to ensure that all computer runs are displayed for successful completion
Ensure that all system partitions are operating properly. Out of line messages pending must be attend to with proper, timely manner
Maintain a regular computer operations log
Follow process and procedure to perform online and batch operations
Recommend strategies for improving online and batch operations
Take ownership of all issues in SIT, UAT and PRD regions
Communicate and follow up all issues with support teams and vendors
Ensure documentations and reports are properly prepared and recorded
Excellent process control and management of SIT, UAT and PRD operation
Apply first and second level support for the issues in SIT, UAT and PRD environments
Response clients’ issues by phone and email
Communicate solutions, company new service information, policy to account base
Adapt different tracking system to record clients' issues and positively follow up status
Ensure high service delivery quality and customer satisfaction
Work with US team regarding process to perform online and batch operations
Achieve results through anticipation
7x24x365/366 shift duty is required
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent from reputable University.
At least 5+ years experience in the z/OS System Operations environment with a proven track record with at least 3 years in a service desk role in MNC. Call center experience from financial institution/transaction processor/bank is a big plus.
More than one year of experience in ITIL process operation
Knowledge of mainframe system operation, z/OS commands and IPL etc
Understanding of Subsystems (RACF, CICS, VTAM, TCP/IP, IMS, IDMS), COBOL, JCL & Utilities a must
Familiar with Vision PLUS systems would be a plus
Service oriented mind with patient character, team work spirit, urgency and follow through
Self motivate team leader, able to handle multiple skilled resources
Result-oriented who could work under pressure
Strong working knowledge of PC based internet and software applications
This position is required to mentor and coach junior staff under the supervision of the Operation Lead.
Good command of English both in oral and written (interface with foreign clients or internal technical supports from US)
Limited travel.
