• Responsible for directing the Asian IDN head end capacity program and Ticknet bandwidth capacity.
• Duties include daily use of React for capacity tracking, determining capacity limits on existing systems, preparing weekly, biweekly & monthly capacity reports for senior management, attending Biweekly & Monthly capacity meetings with Global Capacity Management Groups in US & UK, updating React KRP thresholds, developing capacity plan, holding capacity meetings with Asian IDN head end development, planning capacity projects with the development leadership team, and managing the projects through to implementation.
Coming up with new tools for capacity planning & tracking and checking the Vendor (telecom) capacity where possible. Liasing with vendors and internal customers (DSO, DTC, NASM & Operations) on capacity issues.
• Gather & analyze market intelligence and keep track of the market activities/directions which have capacity/service impacts and flagging to correct teams and senior managers on the impact. Attend service meetings if affecting capacity.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
• Be proficient in Excel, Power point , Word & Visio .
• Must know networking & Communication protocol - TCPIP, FTP etc.
• Candidate must be self driven & process-oriented
• Must have minimum 3 years of Software development experience preferably system's programming OR
• Worked as Unix/VMS system administrator for minimum of 3 years involved in system performance tuning.
• Should have Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering degree
• Window server's internal knowledge is a plus.
• VMS Experience a plus
• Project management skills are a must.
• Individual driven to complete work and motivated to provide great service.
• Be proficient in English language & must possess good communications skills both written and spoken.
• Co-ordinate and manage activities both within and outside own team.
• Ability to understand the financial terms and markets.
