Firmware Design EngineerR&D
Position Summary
Offered candidate will research and design sensor embedded firmware and test software. The selected candidate must be self-directing and willing to work with various internal and global groups. He/She will also responsible for white/black box test, product manufacture and technical support. Ideally, capability of documentation and process is delighted.
• Provide high reliability and stability design solution, specification and test plan according to System Requirements and Voice of Customer. Realize of concepts and studies of existing products.
• Responsible for new product design, integrity analysis / troubleshooting, function and performance validation.
• Create robust manufacture process and documentation according to Honeywell Design Process (HDP) and complement or optimize the existing design process. Checking the work of others for technical accuracy and compliance with established guidelines and procedures.
• Work with the marketing team, development team, the supply chain, customers and OEM to identify, define and conduct development projects
• Provide technical support for existing products.
• Use standard lab facility and specialized lab equipments such as walk test room, acoustics facility and optical test equipments.
• Follow 6 Sigma methodologies in daily activities include hardware definition, statics analysis for solving problems, measure system evaluation, and project sigma scorecard and conduct designed experiments as needed.
• Identify, design, conduct and evaluate experiments and experimental testing programs for various sensor projects. This also includes the ability to conduct a measurement system analysis.
• Thoroughly characterize new products and processes so that they transfer seamlessly and cost effectively into production with high yields.
• Provide regular updates on project status through accepted communication modes. Examples include the Agile system, e-mail, meetings, schedule tracking & presentations.
• Keep current on technology developments, trends, innovations and issues related to original hardware designs, sensor packages, analog conditional solutions and FIR/MW lenses.
• Generate patents and write technical papers as needed.

Hardware Design Engineer

Position Summary
The candidate will research and development analog signal module of various sensors. The candidate will design, analyze, document and functional concepts. Ideally, the candidates will response for FQT and EQT, product manufacture and technical support. Capability of documentation and process is delighted.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, appropriate advanced degrees will be considered with practical experience.
• Electrics Engineering, Automatic Control Engineering
• Minimum 3 years analog and digital design experience.
• Must be well versed in analog analyze and simulation.
• Fundamental understanding firmware design.
Additional Qualifications
• Familiar with analog design, signal condition and low power system design.
• Computer-Aided tools using ability such as SPICE, MODSIM, Mentor Graphic, P-CAD etc. Good experience in analog modeling and analyzing.
• Professional skill in design micro signal, ultra low frequent signal condition and signal process module.
• Strong analog signal digitalization capability. Hybrid signals PCB layout and EMC/EMI skill is the must.
• Solid understanding of low power and low cost MCU such as PIC, MSP430, Arm, MEG16, Free scale etc.
• Fundamental understanding ASAP optical design.
• Familiar with various testing equipment, including signal generator, multi-meter, spectrum, oscilloscope, etc.
• Knowledgeable in cost effective sources for component and layout.
• Innovative, self-directed individual with solid analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good team work spirit and communication skill, strong design review and problem solving ability.
• Fluent skill in both written and oral English. Work closely to global team and local team is essential.

Optical Mechanical Engineer(光学设计工程师)

Position Summary
The candidate will research and development lens of PIR sensor who will become a core member of cross-functional optical and wave-guide technical mechanical team. The candidate will design, modeling, analyze, document and verify packaging concepts for electrical design. Ideally, the candidate should be familiar with optical and material science that can meet special optical test and environment test.

• Familiar with mechanical design with 3D modeling.
• Professional skill in ZAMAX or ASAP 2006 optical design and analysis software.
• Skilled using of computer aid tools such as ProE and UG or auto CAD.
• Good knowledge in ANSYS and FEMA analyse tools.
• Understanding and using of Geometric Dimension and Tolerance principles. Demonstrated ability to created ProE package layouts, lens compartments, assembly models and detailed drawings.
• Knowledgeable in cost effective sources for plastic molding, stampings, extrusions, and coatings.
• Innovative, solid analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good team work spirit and communication skill, strong design review and problem solving ability.
• Fluent skill in both written and oral English. Work closely to global team and local team is essential.
