Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
• Fluent in English and Chinese orally and written, fluency in other languages a plus but not a necessity
• Good written and oral communications skills, including the ability to understand clearly the research requirements and expectations of the consulting practice
• Be able to work in PowerPoint and create well-structured, clearly written presentations with graphs and charts where necessary.
• Knowledge of business issues and research relating to one or more industries and/or business disciplines
• Research skills:
o Scoping and defining research work: able to take an issue and turn it into a researchable question; able to scope the research effort and cost it accurately;
o Analytical skills: company analysis, market analysis, strategic analysis frameworks, and financial analysis.
o Research results packaging and presenting: we want researchers who can draw out the implications of the research they do and tell a compelling, business-focused story about the data that is relevant to Company’s business and clients
• Personal credibility: to be successful in this role you need to be able to build a strong working relationship with senior people in Company and within our research team. So you will be confident, outgoing, able to talk knowledgeably about your research; but never arrogant. You also need to be able to build relationships within our global and local team and work with others in person and remotely on projects.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize appropriately
