In the field of the development of innovation program and developments powertrain system, the Powertrain Control lead Engineer is in charge of the following activities :
Technical development :
o Manage the synthesis of engine control to achieve :
Engine and powertrain requirements,
Cross-functional vehicle needs.
o Write the technical specification of engine controls, powertrain controls and participate in writing the validation plan
o Define functional architecture in coordination with the architecture and controls design through the implementation of the DFCC (DFCC : Control Commande fonctionnal Definition)
o Deploy configuration management through the DFCC and document management for controls subsystem
o Manage the analysis and corrective action for aftermarket issues
o Animate the lessons learned activities at the end of the development
Management :
o Plan activities and deliverables
o Plan specification reviews (internal as well as with supplier)
o Check the effectiveness of design corrections
o Update progress indicators
o Identify risks and manages the relevant action plan
Deliverables :
o Functional description of engine controls, powertrain controls
o Activities and deliverables Scheduling
o Evaluation of design and validation activities
o Weekly Activity progress
o Quarterly status of activity progress
