Principal Responsibilities
• Managing a team to achieve the Enterprise sales goals on a Qtr by Qtr basis
• In conjunction with Marketing team and Sales Management, develop & execute the quarterly business plan for all Enterprise Activities across all APJ region.
• Maintains an up to date knowledge of present technological trends so as to have a strong understanding and knowledge of competitor products and services
• Prioritizes work as it relates to the achievement of Dell's short and long-term business goals and objectives
• Develop processes for closing and implementing enterprise sales in conjunction with Sales, ASG & Services Management.
• Plan, implement and review account sales strategies & RAD analysis for enterprise activities in partnership with GM's & Sales Managers, through the effective management of the ASG team and the internal sales force to ensure targeted goals are met.
• Build relationships with the existing customer base and take ownership of the customer experience.
• In conjunction with marketing team initiate and monitor enterprise product activities in order to meet LOB objectives
• Provide management of ASG team by establishing goals and objectives, assigning tasks and reviewing work at frequent intervals.
• In conjunction with Snr Management, set Enterprise targets to meet business objectives.
• Responsible for resourcing the ASG function at an optimum level at all times through effective recruitment, development and retention of quality personal
• Conduct Performance Plans, Appraisals and monitor closely individual training needs for ASG Sales staff
Liaise with HR & Sr. Management on all corrective actions
Initiate appropriate training programs in alignment to personal development plans
Essential Other:
• At least 10 years of working experience in the related fields
• A bachelor degree or above
• Consistent over achiever
• Strong Technical Background in enterprise products and solutions
• Proven enterprise sales experience and thorough understanding of the enterprise sales cycle
• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
• Strong customer service ethic and a commitment to providing value added customer service
• Proven ability to develop and coach staff in order to achieve work related goals
• Proven record in delivering/implementing strategic/tactical programs to drive growth
• Highly motivated with the ability to drive the team to results
• Experience in a Technical Sales environment with previous team leadership/mentor responsibility and people management accountability
• Ability to negotiate with customers at all levels within an organisation and influence outcomes
• Ability to deliver clear positioning of Dell's Enterprise strategy
• Demonstrable phone selling skills
• IT Industry experience
