The company has been developing rapidly recently and due to their increased activities in China Region, an opportunity has now arisen for the role of Regional Sales Manager, to take the responsibilities for further developing the sales strategies, sales expansion and organization development.
Job Summary:
Responsible for profitable sales growth and results of company’s full product range in the industrial business sector, through proactive sales activities in line the Group's organizational and processual demands;
Work on short term and long term plans to grow the business and to ensure penetration of all existing and potential markets in East/South China;
Development of existing structures and processes as well as the sales controlling and reporting;
Key Job Characteristics:
Responsible for the development of sales strategy in line with the Group's sales processes;
Oversee and manage preparation of annually and monthly sales plan, forecast and budget based on the company goal set by the top management;
Build up, lead and manage sales team to implement company’s sales plan to ensure, achieve and exceed the goal on sales volume, market share, and gross margin;
Visit key customers with sales team representatives as necessary, and manage the collection and dissemination of appropriate market information to company and its affiliates. Manage the creation and retention the sales opportunities for company;
Develop new market in terms of segment and geography;
Review and manage accounts receivable to minimize risks;
Feedback customer requirements and market requirements for new product development;
Prepare monthly report in line with Group's principles;
Actively participate and support value controlling in pricing;
Creates and conducts training programs and promotional programs for the products;
Keeps informed on competitive products, pricing and new product development;
Create and support strong communication lines between Customers and company and its sister companies on engineering communication of any engineering request and information for a better solution to meet customers’ demand;
Oversee proper creation and maintenance of customer information and provide company the market analysis reports on a timely basis;
Providing information on China Valves Industry for management analysis and review. Competition information collection and analysis;
Develop, analyze and control monthly and annual departmental expense budgets.
Accountability:
Design revenue and billing revenue of assigned territories in China.
Authority:
Make recommendations for any personnel actions. Have management responsibilities.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experiences:
At least 7 years experience in the flow control products field with 5 years managerial level in an international environment;
Have extensive knowledge of valve business. Be acquainted with all procedures and practices in the flow control industry in China;
Have good communications skills in Mandarin and English;
Have in depth project management knowledge and experience;
Have good interpersonal skills and extensive knowledge in every aspect of doing business in China;
Be a valued and key member of the whole company and can interface well with upper managers, peers, subordinates and customers;
Qualifications and Personalities:
Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent, with advanced training in business.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task many different forms of work input that are both strategic and operational in nature.
True self-starter with the ability to work towards goals.
Be able to effect changes in the organization efficiently.
Mature, and professional staff management skills.
Maintain a high degree of professionalism when dealing with customers and fellow Associates.
