Our client is a foreign leading private equity firm focused on investing in China. We are seeking a VP or Executive Director for their great china office.
The candidate will play an active and critical role in interactions with their portfolio companies with the following primary objectives and responsibilities:
- Participate with the deal team in the due diligence process in order to understand the target companies’ business and operations and to establish strong relationships with the management and functional chiefs of the target companies;
- Set up, together with the deal team and the management of the portfolio company, detailed performance targets, including but not limited to operational and financial improvement goals for each portfolio company;
- Develop and implement an action plan to help the portfolio companies achieve the above-mentioned targets;
- Frequently review the performance and evaluate the action plan together with the management of the portfolio companies;
- Continuously identify and assess opportunities for Prax to bring new value to the portfolio companies.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior hands-on experience with a reputable multinational corporation in China
- Successful track record demonstrated by significant improvements in operational and financial performance
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and analytical skills with high standard of integrity and work ethic
- Excellent communication and writing skills in Chinese and English
