Supply Chain Manager,
Report to: Director Supply Chain, Asia Pacific Region
Primary Purpose of the Position:
- Increase AP region profitability through the implementation of Supply Chain advanced systems.
- Change Management: implement Supply Chain processes, Region wide, and make sure that the organization is aligned.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement advanced Supply Chain systems and processes -SAP APO: Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning, Production Planning and Scheduling- with the support of regional IT and countries Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, sales & marketing resources.
- Change management: make sure that people in place will accurately use the systems and processes
- Processes design: make sure that processes that will be supported by advanced Supply Chain systems cope with GY business. Find the right balance between flexibility (business view) and discipline required (system view)
- On demand, can be assigned to other special regional SC projects. Examples only: managing 3rd party, strategic projects as manufacturing restructuring, be part of Global Process Clubs, etc...
Requirements:
- master degree in business and/or supply chain
- at least 5 to 10 years experience in Supply Chain at managerial level in a multinational company, preferably in the FMCG or Automotive industry. An ideal candidate would have a double experience in Consulting and Operations Management. Major Consulting company: has played a similar role -implementation of Advanced Supply Chain systems- for multinational companies. Operations Management: has managed SC operations.
- Excellent communication skills;
- Firm and flexible at the same time;
- Outstanding team working skills;
- Ability to communicate with high levels of the organization;
- Foreign languages an asset; outstanding meeting facilitation skills.
- High work ethics. Perseverance and results driven, process and systems driven.
- IT experience an asset: certified in one ERP a plus. APICS certified a plus.
