E-Commerce Consultant – Hong Kong or Shanghai
e-Commerce has become essential for businesses all across the globe, but in Greater China it is still very much in the early stages of its growth, and the approach to setting up services has largely been one of trial and error. However, as the economy here continues its skyrocketing boom, so will consumer spending and the rise of the market to reach them. In order for corporations to know where to even begin their e-trading strategies in China, they need the valuable advice of analytical, business-savvy strategic consultants who are domain experts and real Digital gurus.
This role we are offering to you will be at a highly respected, Tier 1 Global Management Consulting firm, where you will be responsible for helping your clients – top tier MNCs - answer this very question. You will become a thought leader in Digital Consulting working for a hot, newly setup division that everyone will be trying to reach. As this is a rapidly expanding division, you will be a person who is entrepreneurial and collaborative, where you will have to prove yourself in a hands-on fashion. This also means excellent opportunities for growth in an environment where you will receive world class training, access to vast resources, and connections with talented professionals in countless fields.
Working with other Directors, Partners and Leads, your daily role in the job will range from building business relationships with external clients, executing digital projects involving eStrategy, digital transformation, and implementing management solutions to optimise your clients’ market leadership position in Digital Media.
You, as the perfect fit for this role, will have the following:
Able to read/write/speak at a business level in English, Mandarin, and/or Cantonese
Have 4-7 years experience working at a digital consulting agency or strategic planning department of an eCommerce company
Developed strategy and/or systems to promote and sell products online
Optimized online eCommerce channels for maximum leads/registrations/sales
In-depth understanding of advanced digital technologies and new concepts in digital marketing
Proven skills in business development, with experience in customer-centric methodologies
Able to bring strategy and analytics to a tactical, actionable level
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, with multiple customers and competing needs
Bachelor degree with preferable background in e-Marketing or Business
Willingness to travel (mostly within Asia Pacific)
