General Manager / Regular communication with Headquarters in Italy

Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-Face interviews
Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for national sales management.
+ Find leads, make sales presentations, prepare and submit quotations, negotiate and close orders with customers.
+ Define sales strategy for the products in China.
+ Establish and maintain a sales strategy with priorities based on realizable incremental targets.
+ Implement strategy with monthly achievement reports against targets and report to headquarters.
+ Identify company sales support activities to maximize opportunities for growth with assessment of likely gains: short term, medium term and long term.
+ Submit accurate and regular report to headquarters with summary of sales activity, customer relations issues and sales pipeline to an agreed format and frequency.
+ Ensure through continuous prospecting activity that adequate sales leads are generated to meet sales targets at an assumed conversion rate.
+ Define market size and market share for the products in China.
+ Prepare and organize exhibitions and marketing events in China.
Requirements:
+ Strong commercial understanding with strong affinity for technical applications.
+ University Degree with an engineering specialization.
+ Technical background with a strong understanding of power transmission.
+ At least 5 years of sales experience in power transmission industry in China.
+ Experience of working with gear boxes for industrial and machinery applications.
+ Track record of identifying, projecting and meeting sales targets.
+ Excellent knowledge of local business culture and sales process in China.
+ Track record of exceptional sales growth.
+ Experience with direct sales to OEMs.
+ Technical understanding of motors and reducers.
+ Formal sales skills training.
+ High level of computer literacy, using "Windows" and "MS Office".
+ Leadership quality and experience.
+ Good communications skills at all levels as well as presentation skills.
+ Understanding of international business requirements.
+ Ability to identify market opportunities quickly and follow up on them effectively.
+ Ability to make contact with and influence key decision makers.
+ Self-motivated, flexible and a team-player.
+ Confident and out-going, assertive and strong self-initiator.
+ Able to work quickly and efficiently.
+ Willingness to travel within China
+ Willing to live and work in Shanghai
+ Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin
+ Fluent in English language (spoken and written)
