-Provide direction and coaching to the Operations team on best practice methods for material management and inventory control.
-Directs the supply planning portion of the Sales & Operations planning process to achieve accurate and timely supply of materials and components.
-Directs the efforts, recommends and facilitates resolution of supply risks or shortfalls.
-Supports the activity in achieving inventory policy results
-Ensures timely communications and follow up from ordering material to reception.
-Coordinates the elaboration of the Rough Cut Capacity Plan.
-Whenever unforeseen supply issues arise, directs the recovery efforts across all functions to minimize the impact to customer service and premium costs.
-Establishes and assures the adherence to processes to be used for all levels of supply planning.
-Facilitates the development and analysis of the supply key performance indicators needed to assess the effectiveness of the suppliers.
-Ability to grow with the position and participate in the team definition that will support the expansion of the activity.
-Performs other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
*Bachelor degree in business or engineering.
*Preferably CPIM certified.
*Fluent in Chinese and English.
*Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position with focus on
material supply.
*Experience in the automotive industry.
*Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft tools.
*Willing to domestic travel.
*Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
*Capacity to thrive, adapt and manage in fast pace environment.
