I met my Ph.D advisor Prof. A at an IEEE meeting in Chicago last Week. Prof A and I visited Chongqing 25 years ago when the living and travel conditions in Chongqing were very poor. I told him Chongqing made great progress since his last visit. Now Chongqing is famous in China for Three Beauties. “What three B’s ?” he asked. I said: “1. beautiful night scene, 2. delicious food and 3. u guess”. “What's that? Tell me!”. He urged. “3. pretty girls”. He laughed: “I like the #3. I must visit Chongqing again. Please arrange a trip for me. “
A few hours later in the same meeting hall, I ran into Prof. B (you must know him. He used to be a manager with XYZ) who is a good friend of A. B shouted at me: “Hey, Dr. C, how come you told A sth so exciting in Chongqing without telling me? Whenever you guys go to Chongqing, don't forget me. “
At the moment, a graduate student from Southwest University just walked by. I stopped her and brought her to Prof. B. “This girl is from Chongqing, now u have to believe me, rite?”. Prof. B smiled,” I'm convinced. I must go to Chongqing b4 too late.”
