Our client, founded in 2000, is a leading provider of new generation core insurance software and services for both life and general (P&C) insurance worldwide. It's a Chinese company backed by GE capital, Softbank and VC. All their products are developed fully based on web technology and designed according to best practice management thinking, supporting all products and channels in one customer centric system. Its customers include leading insurance companies in Asia, Europe, and North America and its products are supporting operations of customers in more than a dozen of countries or regions, both for green field start up and legacy system replacement. They have more than 700 people with offices in Shanghai (global headquarter), Beijing, Singapore, India, Tokyo, Malaysia, and they are opening new sub-branches at Brazil, London and New York.
Position: Global Service Delivery Manager
Selected candidate will be responsible for the delivery of cost-effective, quality after-sales technical solutions and services to customers globally.
Main Responsibilities:
1.Optimize the utilization of service resources to provide technical support, including field demonstrations, through effective planning, developing and managing after-sales service standards and procedures
2.Continually monitor the performance of the after-sales business and adjust action plans to achieve target growth
3.Work closely with country management, market service teams, and other business functions and customers globally to develop customer-satisfying service solutions and sustain service leadership position in the industry.
4.To manage the performance of services to clients as agreed in the contract and ensure that the Service Levels are achieved.
5.Management of an IT Service Delivery team of 6 and be responsible for career development and appraisals.
6.Definition of service level agreements related to contracted services.
7.To manage the IT Service Delivery team, taking responsibility for service desk, desktop support and application support.
8.To build services relationships with clients.
9.Ensure quality and profitable services are performed to the agreed SLA.
10.To ensure that systems, processes and methodologies as specified are followed to sure effective monitoring, control and support of service delivery.
11.To provide reports to an agreed schedule (or on request), including management and account performance reports.
12.Attend client service review meetings; areas covered will include performance reports, service improvements, quality and processes.
13.To develop and facilitate workshops and training courses.
Requirements
1.At least a basic Engineering degree
2.At least 10 years’ experience in running service operations as well as service management programs
3.Strong analytical skills for solving technical issues with customers, plus the ability to lead and take ownership.
4.Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentations skills.
5.SAP experience (Added Advantage)
