The Customer Insights Analyst will analyze customer trends and improve the understanding of Consumer customers. The Analyst will provide insights that will assist our company to prioritize customer needs, develop quality customer leads, and drive better customer strategies.
Responsibility:
• Conduct rigorous analysis that will help change the business
• Turn business problems into analytic projects with well defined deliverables
• Be able to effectively communicate the results and insights of the analyses to business partners and management team
• Perform customer profiling and analyze customer trends, utilizing both internal and external customer information
• Manipulate and analyze large volumes of customer data in order to identify trends and improve our understanding of customer behaviors and preferences
• Proactively use customer information to identify and size business opportunities
• Analyze customer product purchase patterns in order to optimize product merchandising strategies
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and be able to meet deadlines and effectively set expectations
Education/Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or Operations Research
• MBA or Master’s Degree in a quantitative discipline preferred
• A minimum of 3 years experience manipulating and analyzing large volumes of customer data to derive customer insights
• Experience using customer data from various sources such as transactional sales and support data, demographics/firmagraphics, online click stream, campaign history, and market research data
• Experience working with large datasets
• Strong SAS and SQL skills
• Experience with OLAP reporting tools such as Business objects a plus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
• Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
• B-to-C experience is a plus
