You're expected to have experience in all kinds of IT infrastructure hardware (ProLiant server, blades, FC SAN, network switch, etc.), skillful on Windows and Linux servers. In charge of lab environment design, system setup, troubleshooting, rebuild and preparation.
Strong English verbal and written skills are required. Availability is required in off hours sometimes so that individuals from various parts of the global team can work together and have project meetings. Problem solving orientated and process driven.
Job Description
* Work independently with world wide customers, strong customer expectation management skills
* Setup Lab environment on customer demand and work out automatic build solutions
* O/S setup & maintenance on Microsoft, Linux platforms
* Antivirus / OS patches management
* Write lab environment guide and rebuild documentation
* Responsible for the remote support of project implemented projects
* IT Infrastructure system support and troubleshooting
* Ensures outstanding customer satisfaction results by presenting a professional image to the customer that is aligned with HP goals, objectives and values; delivering quality support services
* Work closely with global team and delivery support services as agreed service level
* Strong responsibility, serious-minded and carefulness on work
* Account for on time and qualified support for customers in APJ / EMEA business hours, since those cases make up approximately 85% of case load
* 4-8 hour time shifting arrangement (earlier/later shifts) is required

Qualifications
* Bachelor's or undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Must have 6+ year experience in large, complex enterprise IT infrastructure.
* Must have fluent English communication skills both verbal and written.
* Strong IT Infrastructure system support and troubleshooting skills is required
* Experienced on IT hardware. HP ProLiant server, EVA SAN, network knowledge are required (e.g. HP ProLiant servers, Blades, SAN, NAS, NFS and Ethernet switch, etc.).
* Windows Batch script / PowerShell script / Linux Shell script skill is very preferred
* Capable of handling global customers based on different time zones and cultures
* Altiris and Linux knowledge would be a plus
