Senior Consultant/ Consultant -Manufacturing Domain
Key Skill Sets:
1. comes from a Consulting/ leading industry player;
2. Has experience in strategy, operations & technology;
3. Has deep functional experience in Manufacturing (Discrete or Process Manufacturing) Operations (Product Operations/ Customer Operations);
4. Exposure to multiple industry segments would be a plus; (High Tech/ Discrete Manufacturing/ Automotive/ metals/ Chemical)
5. Core Functional Knowledge across Plant Operations & Maintenance, Procurement & Sourcing, Sales and Marketing, Design and Engineering, Customer Service and After Sales;
6. Candidate with experience in leading and implementing large scale strategic programs / projects, typically business / functional side, across the full lifecycle would be desirable.
7. The key emphasis of the candidates work should be on envisioning solution formulation and design stages in a project lifecycle.
8. The candidate needs to have depth in consulting to industries in the MFG portfolio on strategic and operational issues.
Key Requirements
1. Ability to succeed in an ambiguous / changing environment, ability to adapt
2. Well versed in working with clients or partners to solve problems and define business strategies
3. Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team, flexibility to support multiple time zones when necessary
4. Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills - executive presence
5. MBA graduate Specialization in Manufacturing/ Industrial Management
6. Willingness to travel on short notice on short or long term engagements within or outside the country
7. Knowledge of Japanese/ Chinese and other languages a plus
