Tech Watch & Business Innovation exists in order to ‘find the right things and the right ways’. Tech Watch means scanning the world for IT trends as well as validate and chose the important ones for us . Innovative prototype is always developed in cooperation with a customer and has a design point of 10-12 man weeks.
We are looking for a dynamic and business oriented Manager of Tech Watch & Business Innovation for Asia east.
Core responsibilities
• Take initiatives to customer dialogues in order to discover and define opportunities that will add business value for us
• Develop Business Innovation prototypes with IT as an enabler in close cooperation with our customers.
• Evaluate and chose the most important IT trends for Volvo and be a driving force for the communication of these.
• Communicate and visualize results from Tech Watch and prototypes realization.
• Responsible for coordinating innovation activities for IT in Asia.

Qualifications
Profile
University degree (BAC+5 or equivalent) and IT experience in business development.

2、Business Consultant
The Solution Unit Order to Delivery purpose is to globally capture business requirements and translate them into value adding, deliverable and cost efficient IT solutions in the Supply Chain Area.
You will act as a Business Consultant for the OtD area and work closely with our customers in the initial stages of projects, change requests and pre-studies. You must be able to provide customers with advice on their own Business, specify requirement and share your OtD operational expertise with other members of the group. The job involves a high degree of international contacts and a certain amount of travel.
Interfaces
Key Responsibility
• Understands customer strategies, ob<x>jectives and requirements. Act as a coach for the customer.
• Identifies areas for improving the customers business and offers solutions.
• Is authorised to make commitments which fall within the tasks / frameworks given by the customer/account manager.
• Identify leads and, depending on role level, make additional and new sales to existing and new customers in cooperation with the responsible Account Manager/Global account manager.
• Contribute/participate in marketing efforts and Solution unit service/practice development work.
• Manage global assignments and handle discussions/communication with clients on mid to top management level and steering committees with ease of ex<x>pression.
• Drive assignments efficiently, understand complex issues and point out opportunities and risks.

Main competence requirements
Qualifications:
• University Degree within relevant field
• 15+ years of relevant professional experience, including workshop facilitation, investigations, process development and project management.
• Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes for the automotive industry
• Be a visionary who is one step ahead and proactively proposes solutions
• Ability to provide clients with recommendations to address business strategies and operations
• Proven ability to work effectively in a global organization
• Experience in conceiving and designing global IT solutions
• Experience in taking a consultative approach with clients and the ability to communicate effectively.
• Understanding of the control framework for client processes, projects and pre-studies (e.g. IS-GDP, IS-GDP4IT, etc.)
• Ability to fit details into the overall picture (helicopter view) Understanding of system architecture and best practices. Experience in large-scale IT implementations
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
Highly desirable qualifications include:
• Familiarity with supply chain processes specifically in Demand Planning and Ordering, Sales and Operations Planning; and Production Planning and Scheduling. Logistics, MPS and MRP.
• Familiarity with Change Management processes
Familiarity with Supply Chain Management solutions, specifically SAP PP and MM, and desire SD understanding. A background in BASIS and configuration would also be highly desirable.
