We are looking for a product marketing guru to take the lead on educating the wider app industry on company's app store data product suite. From analytics to market data, and from free to ultra premium, you'll be tasked with communicating company's product leadership across a variety of vertical audiences - app publishers, platforms, mobile telecom, investors, advertising, media companies and much more. One in five apps on the App Store are powered by company Analytics, and 10 of the Top 15 iOS publishers by revenue use company Intelligence. Your goal is to drive that growth even further across a broader audience.
You'll be responsible for all new feature, product and platform launches. And you'll be the creative force behind all product marketing material online and offline, including user guides, product decks, interactive web pages, animated product videos etc. You'll work both with product management and online marketing to drive overall user and customer growth through effective product communications. And you'll be tasked with ensuring that company maintains product and feature leadership across its entire suite, maintaining close relations with the user community.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop all product marketing content including user guides, new feature blog posts, product decks, interactive web pages, animated product videos etc.
Develop product value proposition for multiple vertical audiences, driving segmented product marketing that targets everyone from indie app publishers to large media conglomerates.
Work with product management to develop well-segmented and sequenced product launch and go-to-market strategies
Develop innovative and high impact campaigns that drive user adoption and virality
Work with user acquisition manager to drive user and customer growth across industry and regional verticals. Analyze campaign effectiveness and ROI through analytics tools.
Develop strong relationships with industry partners, leveraging co-marketing initiatives and product partnerships
Understand market dynamics and user reaction to our products with a view to informing product roadmap and communications
You
The ideal candidate combines a deep level of product marketing experience in technology with a passion for the apps industry and the analytics products that drive it.
4-6 years' experience in a product marketing, online marketing and/or brand marketing role, preferably in an internet company.
Disciplined, well-organized and efficient – you have a detailed and methodical approach to every project
Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to develop strategy, business plans, customer segmentation and market insights.
Excellent writing skills - you write clearly and credibly and can turn complex features into simple value propositions.
Passion for analytics and apps. You recognize the importance of data behind every commercial decision, and you understand where the growth of apps and digital content is going to come.
Excellent Powerpoint and Excel capabilities; familiar with a number of analytics tools
Fluent written and spoken English (we work in an international work environment); Mandarin Chinese a plus.
