Client Introduction:
The client is a leading comprehensive real estate services provider with several subsidiaries and listed in NASDAQ. They provide company-owned brokerage services, mortgage management services, primary services, franchise services, commercial services and fund management services. Now they’re looking for a group financial controller to oversee the financial condition of the whole group.
Key Responsibilities:
This position will report CFO directly.
1. Responsible for all the subsidiaries’ monthly US GAAP financial statements preparation reviews. Assist CFO in both internal and external financial reporting.
2. Manage financial reporting aspects of M&A related projects.
3. Work closely with external advisors including US and PRC legal counsels, external auditors, etc. Help CFO in future financing activities, particularly analytical statements in MD&A section.
4. Review and work with operational managers and F&A team on annual budget and rolling forecast.
5. Manage the group tax activities and assist in tax planning project.
6. Review monthly/quarterly PRC GAAP Financial reporting for the legal entities covered.
7. Improve process control over financial reporting at all levels.
8. Lead and train controllers and F&A Managers.
9. Ad hoc project when required.
Requirements
BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; AICPA/CPA qualification is highly preferred.
At least 13 years working experience in finance sector with more than 5 years working as a senior leader in a medium-sized/ large-sized company.
Solid knowledge in US GAAP and PRC GAAP
Good communication skills and self-motivator.
Fluent English, especially in writing.
