"Would the manager mind his email is given away by my friend working in the same company?"
I had an interview yesterday. I want to write a thank-you note to the manager in which I can make up for one question. Unfortunately I forgot to ask him for a business card. I still have his telephone number since he once asked me to call him back before the interview. Now my friend working for the company got his email for me. Do you think it is appropriate that I wrote to him, stating that my friend got his email for me? Will he feel I am over-aggressive? Or should I leave a voice message for him instead of writing email? I prefer email since the message may be a bit long. But I don't want to make him feel my friend or I act inappropriately to get his email address.
What should I do? I think many of experienced HaiGui DXs here are managers. Could you give me some suggestions? Really want to try my best and write this note before he makes a decision. Thanks for all replies.
