Apexone Microelectronics Background Description：
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead multiple R&D projects for our offices in the US and Shanghai. We are a rapidly growing venture capital-backed start-up company in the mixed-signal analog fabless design field focused on IC design solutions for the consumer electronics, multimedia and communications sectors.
Job Responsibilities:
· Supervise and coordinate the activities of semiconductor mixed signal, analog and digital IC R&D product development.
· Ensure multiple projects are completed on time, on budget, and as specified.
· Allocate resources, manage staffing, and evaluate employee's performance and compensation
· Develop and manage project schedules, resources planning, and critical paths
· Integrate and manage project deliverables to and from groups outside the project team including external vendors.
· Must be able to manage multiple complex projects and tasks simultaneously, while ensuring completion of projects within outline project costs.
· Interview and hire new personnel
· Coordinate and interface across different functional departments
· Proven track record with project management tools (MS Project) or equivalent.
· Report to VP Engineering.
Position Requirements:
· Master’s Degree in electrical engineering, MBA and/or PMP Certification preferred.
· More than 3 years supervisory experience over R&D team of at least 5
· More than 8 years in IC product design, preferably covering both front-end and back-end design and layout
· Proven tracking record of managing multiple projects and successful tape-outs in IC consumer, multimedia or communications chips
· Team leadership, training and coaching skills
· Superior communications and interpersonal skills, particularly oral and written Mandarin and preferably English abilities
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, long working hours environment under tight deadlines
· Proactive, self-motivated, results-driven leader
Compensation
Base salary, stock options, project bonus and other bonuses depending on performance and experience.
