Description:
The successful candidate will be a seasoned, hard driving, vocal and decisive leader for AIBU’s operation in Chengdu, China. This position demands an individual with financial acumen, and business savvy to drive financial planning and reporting, analysis and decision support for this operation. With limited direct staff, this finance professional must be able to successfully work across geographies and partner with many other internal financial services providers, including cost accounting and reporting functions, to provide necessary analysis to varying levels of management. Key responsibilities include:
· As a key member of the division general manager’s staff, provide financial leadership and guidance for the business.
· Own all financial processes for the business including portfolio analysis, capital investments, market model analysis, expense controls etc.
· Deliver business decision support and financial consulting to the division general manager and his staff.
· Design, manage and execute a robust financial planning process. Prepare cash flow forecast on a periodic basis and notify division GM when additional cash injections will be required
· Develop stand-alone financial system for the division, ensuring solid financial controls and compliance to fiduciary requirements as well as timely implementation and communication of new policies and procedures.
· Working with the GM and staff, develop a milestone plan for the first 3 years of division operation in support of its financial commitments. Establish accountabilities for each milestone, report results vs. milestones quarterly, highlight issues and drive to resolution.
· Maintain key relationships with other GM staff, developing accountability for financial commitments and ensuring solid business decisions are made.
· Mentor and develop division management extended staff on key financial processes and business decision-making.
· Represent the division P&L to executive management and the Company financial community as needed
Qualifications:
Extensive Business experience (at least 10 years). At least 5 years of management experience.
Ability to influence a high performance leadership team
Ability to get results in a complex, cross-geography, cross-cultural organization via direct and indirect reporting relationships
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Business/Economics and/or MBA/CPA or equivalent local qualifications.
