Job Title: Sales Development Manager
Responsibilities:
I. Business Development
1. Develop and implement sales distribution strategies in product, business development for A&H on nation-wide and branch level.
2. Drive sales distribution strategies and initiatives for business growth in all distribution channels.
3. Develop sound marketing campaigns with all distribution and drive to achieve production results.
4. Identify agency and direct marketing opportunities including product cross-sell / up-sell and customer retention strategies and drive for implementation.
5. Build relationship with Agency channels and to develop new and maintain existing sponsors’ relationship.
6. Develop and review sound business / marketing plans including product sales strategy, campaign P&L, product development to achieve business results.
7. Develop training plans for new product launch and upgrading distribution partner’s skills and capabilities.
8. Work closely with Regional / Worldwide A&H office in areas of alternative distribution strategies and development.
II. Product Development, Product Marketing and Launch
1. Drive all distribution channels’ product development and analyze marketing plans for product launch.
2. Drive design of marketing brochures / marketing materials for products launch and or product
3. Implement sound marketing launch plans and consolidate implementation with Agency Development Team, PA managers and alternative distribution channels to attain product sales results.
III. Performance Monitoring and Evaluation
1. Monitor, manage and analyze production results for all distribution channels
2. Recommend for action plans to rectify / improve /sustain results base on production analysis
3. Drive for implementations of action plans for production.
IV. Others
Work and coordinate with various functions on products development, marketing plans implementations
Qualifications:
· University Graduate or above
· Over 12 years of relevant experience in sales management, preferably in agency development in the financial services and or insurance industry.
· Strong Direct marketing campaign skills – utilizing data mining and database marketing techniques
· Strong Agency Development Skills – dynamics and key drivers of agency business
· Strong interpersonal skills with flexibility and adaptability
· In-depth knowledge in products and the insurance business
· Sharp business acumen and business senses
· Strong influencing skills and high level of maturity
· Strong communication and presentation skills
· Good command of both Mandarin and English, verbal and written
· High level of leadership skills, management and coaching skills
