Prefered Candidates: Internal candidates is prefered with more than 5 years SW high level design experience
Department Description: Engineering team located in Shanghai China focus on in-vehicle Telematics products development.
Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
Work as part of an engineering team to develop in-vehicle Telematics system. Member of the SW development team responsible for capturing system requirements, preparing system requirements doc, system level SW architecture design and documentation, SW high level design, Identifying SW development Features, design state transition model and participating in preparing validation plan,
Specific Knowledge/Skills:
Ideal candidate must be knowledgeable with SW abstraction methodology and SW engineering process .
Embedded software C/C++, OSEK or RTOS based development experience is a must.
Experienced user of some SW high level design or modeling tools, such as Rational Rose etc.
Experience in automotive electronics SW design, development, Validation, CAN bus related SW development and implementation experience is a must.
Previous experience in design SW development model for cellular/smart telephones or PDA is a plus.
Clear Case configuration management skills. Experience with DOORS is preferable.
Working knowledge of Linux and Windows Based Environments is required - Linux experience is a plus.
Excellent English is a must for this occupation.
Must possess good communication skills. The ability to perform a variety of tasks and work under minimal supervision is required. Must be a team player, self-motivated, quick learner, experience working/coordinating efforts effectively with multiple teams, own issues and drive to timely resolutions.
