POSITION: Senior Sales Consultant – JD Edwards Financials
REPORTS TO: Sales Consulting Manager/Director

KEY OBJECTIVE

Provide technical and functional JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial pre-sales support to prospective customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Design and validate JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial solutions, including advanced product concepts, customer business relevance and future product direction. Effectively present, communicate and demonstrate JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial solution to the customer. Maintain expertise in the latest product solution offerings, including competitive strengths and weaknesses.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

-Partner with Sales Account Managers by providing the necessary support to compete effectively with key competitors
-Develop, present and demonstrate JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial solutions to prospective customers based on detailed customer requirements.
-Understand the dependencies on other JD Edwards and 3rd party software components to develop complete solutions for customers
-Support the development of customer workshops, pilots, and proof-of-concepts
-Be the recognised subject matter expert for Financial, learn and maintain product knowledge and transfer knowledge to Sales Account Managers, Sales Consultants and other relevant JD Edwards communities
-Provide necessary input into RFI’s and RFP's
-As an integral member of the sales team, contribute in detailed qualification of opportunities, formulation of strategies and technical approaches, plans for presales campaigns

RELEVANT TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

Essential Non-Product:
-5-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
-Successful sales consulting and customer facing experience, selling and positioning Financial solutions are MUST
-Excellent business sense with understanding of the challenges around financials
-Excellent depth in subject matter area of financials and related KPIs
-Excellent presentation and communication skills both written and oral, ability to communicate at all levels
-Self-motivator with the ability to work independently (as required)
-Capability of fast learning and on-the-job learning
-Excellent capability of driving initiatives and managing project team members during presales stage (as required)
-Very good project planning and time management skills
-Strong leadership and mentoring skills
-Degree level qualification or equivalent
-Chinese Language Fluency: Mandarin
-English Language Fluency


Essential Product Specific:

-Sales consulting experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial or other packaged software
-Experience with JDE Edwards FIN Applications or other packaged applications.
-Significant level of technical depth around JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Solutions or other ERP solutions
-Functional expertise in any of the following areas
*G/L
*A/P
*A/R
*Fixed Assets
*Costing
*Expense Management
- Good understanding of ERP and industry specific systems

Desirable:
-Experience in Accounting/Financial field is a plus
-Knowledge of Navision, Axapta, SAP, Oracle, QAD, PBCS, IFS will be a plus
-Product management experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial is a plus
-Implementation experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Financial
-Implementation experience in any other ERP systems
-Implementation of software or working experience in any of the following industries;
*Consumer Product (Fast Moving or Slow Moving)
*Industrial Manufacturing
*Automotive Tier 1 & 2 Suppliers / After-Market Spare Part Mfg
