Responsibilities:
· Manage DTP groupBuild, develop and lead team in effective way to meet various DTP work requirement. Coach DTP engineers to improve their DTP expertise.Communicate with team members to keep morale. Work with team members on their performance planning. Give team members feedback on performance on an ongoing basis and conduct formal performance reviews.
· Manage translation group.
· Resource planning and allocationGive input to new projects: analysis, quoting, planning, resourcing, set-up, risk management and cost monitoring.
· Participate in daily activities in DTP groupConvert between different file formats. Capturing screen image and creating bitmaps for html.Format, position and resize screen dumps and artwork.Generate index and table of contents. Creating CD label and jacket. Print out and check quality.
· Manage daily activities in DTP group or/and translation group
· Build internal relationship
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years in a similar role.
· Expert knowledge of DTP process and tools.
· Understanding of the localization/internationalization process.
· Keep informed of new technology.
· Ability to lead, motivate and direct a big team.
· Planning and scheduling skills. Communication and negotiation skills.
· Problem solving abilities.
