Job Description: Digital Factory Consultant
Job title:
Digital Factory Consultant.
Reports to:
Head of PLM
Team and direct reports: Digital Factory domain leader, in PLM Department of Systems Integration Division
Location and travel request:
T-Systems offices at Beijing, or Shanghai. Frequent traveling including oversea business trip and onsite services are required.
Starting Date: As earlier as possible.
Justification of the position:
The consultant is a service delivery team member in SI-PLM.
The consultant provides presales support through documentation, presentation, demonstration, teaming with SSM members (Sales, Services Management Division) and analyzing the customer needs. The consultant provides presales technical support related to digital manufacturing process consulting services, including developing materials and technical documentations, performing demonstrations of digital factory solutions, which include but not limited to DELMIA or Tecnomatix.
The consultant is responsible for services delivery around DELMIA training, technical support, operation support, 3D process consulting based on DELMIA, etc. Manage and execute benchmarks, and liaise with customers and internal resources in documenting and providing adequate answers to technical inquiries. Capitalize on the key differentiators of 3D digital manufacturing solutions, develop best practices, and provide best-in-class consulting services in 3D digital manufacturing process implementation based on but not limited to DELMIA or Tecnomatix.
• Presales support by teaming with SSM, presentation, demonstration, solution descriptions, services project scope validation, etc.
• Responsible for DELMIA support and service delivery, and continuous operations of customers’ engineering systems.
• DELMIA training delivery. DELMIA onsite coaching
• 3D process consulting based on DELMIA and / or other eFactory tools
• Installation, monitoring and troubleshooting of DELMIA solution. Support DELMIA installation and operations of customers
• DELMIA application support as a part of User Helpdesk (Level 2 or Level 1 onsite). Provide guidance to team members on problem solving and customers handling. Monitor all open cases and actively communicate with team members on unresolved problems and other IT support groups to ensure that cases are resolved according to priorities stated in the Service Level Agreement.

Education,
qualification, experiences required:
• Engineering degree / diploma from university.
• Excellent language skills of Chinese and English. Advanced technical language skills of Japanese or German are highly appreciated.
• Working experiences longer than 4 years
• General understanding about IT architecture, TCP/IP networking, DNS, proxy server, firewall, DHCP, web servers, internet related technologies, Operating Systems platforms, Windows, UNIIX (AIX, HPUX, Solaris), etc. Knowledge of ITIL processes is appreciated.
Professional Skills & Core Competences:

3 years longer relevant experience in manufacturing industries. Knowledge and Experiences about product development engineering, production engineering and manufacturing process, especially for aerospace or automobile industry; Good interpersonal communication skills ; Customer needs oriented and business process oriented ; Capacity to skill up quickly by learning new technologies in a new environment.
[Computing skills]
Good skill on Windows and MS-Office OA tools including Project is a must. Knowledge of Windows Server Management is appreciated. Programming skills with VB script or C++ are highly appreciated. Skills on internet technology (xml, HTML, CGI) etc. are big plus.
[3D CAD / CAM / CAE knowledge]
General understanding about product development & manufacturing process and related activities, especially for automotive industry. General skills on 3D CAD / CAM / CAE usage are highly appreciated.
[PDM knowledge]
General understanding about BOM, Product Data Management, and Collaborative Engineering is a plus.
[Digital Manufacturing skills]
Good skill on digital factory solutions of DELMIA, or TECNOMATIX is a must. Skill on MicroStation is also a plus. General understanding on BOM or ERP system, and experiences about manufacturing, production process engineering are plus. Understanding and experiences from manufacturing industry process re-engineering projects are highly appreciated.
