Job title: Asia Pacific Corporate Development and Strategy Manager
Work Place: based in Shanghai
Company: US chemical company, one of the fortune 500s and one of the US Top 5 chemical companies.
Job Responsibility:
Mergers & Acquisitions
Provide support to Business Units in evaluating M&A / JV / Alliance efforts in APR, including identifying potential targets, articulating strategic rationale, defining and valuing synergies, and coordinating due diligence, transaction, and integration efforts.
Business Development
Work in conjunction with the Business Units to develop region-specific strategies and support corporate-wide issues by analyzing markets, customers, technologies, and competitors, and identifying and capitalizing on major growth opportunities across our Business Groups.
Job Development Direction: Promoted to be one BU GM of the company
Requirements:
Business development or marketing, strategy development working background in the chemical industry is required.
Knowledge about Electronic materials as a Plus.
Hands-on experience with M&A.
Prior technical, marketing, business development, strategic planning, and/or chemical/materials industry experience is highly valued.
Evidence of leadership capability, global vision, business acumen, proven results, emotional intelligence, and strong analytical and strategic thinking skills are essential.
Financial valuation experience is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
Fluency in English and Mandarin (or other local language depending on location) required.
