POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is overall responsible for the quarterly revenue targets and development and execution of Services Marketing programs for Client Products (Dimension, Inspiron, Latitude, Precision & Optiplex) across the Dell Asia-Pacific region, which includes sales in 10 countries but primarily in Singapore, India, Malaysia, Australia, Japan and China.
The position will also drive and own the APJ Client Target and will work w/ the regions to drive these results. Will work with Client COC to gain support for Services and obtain inclusion in regional plans and new product launches.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assessment of market segments, new services introduction, customer acquisition and development programs, forecasting, development of specific marketing programs, and definition of go-to-market activities. Strong interaction with the US teams to leverage services created there with rollout targeted across APJ.
1) Own the Client Services sales targets and offering Roadmap:
•Deliver the Client Service Targets – revenue, SRU, margin for APJ
•Create and Launch compelling Services offerings for the Client market
•Drive the service offering lifecycle – improve/ modify offerings over time
•Ensure competitiveness of offerings and develop recommendations to maximize competitive strengths
•Remove and rationalize offerings to maintain simplicity of Sales execution
•Work closely with Service Readiness to implement new and modify/ improve existing offerings
•Develop and implement sales/marketing programs to drive services attach rates and assess revenue/margin contribution.
•Monitor and analyze current services and new product and service trends, pricing and marketing strategies.
2) Ensure Sales Competency and target achievement:
• Own and drive the APJ Client number – work w/ regions to overcome problems and achieve targets
• Interface w/ COC and Segment to develop and implement revenue driving programs
• Provide training to sales along with detailed service product information, value propositions, positioning and marketing statements.
• Work with marketing managers, project planners and sales force for smooth introductions and launches.
• Ensure appropriate marketing services collateral and offerings for major new product introductions, customer categories and sales initiatives.
• Monitor competitive activities including pricing, marketing strategies and services direction by interfacing with competitors advertising and home pages (as well as gathering competitive information from 3rd party sources) to ensure that Dell is in line with its services offerings and price points.
