HUMAN RESOURCES DIRECTOR
Human Resources Director reports to President. This position focuses on recruiting processes and supporting, administering HR programs and consulting with Directors, President and other members of the firm’s management as required. The responsibilities of this position may vary throughout the year depending on business requirements.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
HR Management
Assist Directors and President in identifying training which addresses the development needs of the employees
Create and deliver HR strategic and tactical support for growth and profitability for the business in the areas of:
Organizational change and effectiveness
Leadership development
Performance management/career development
Compensation and Benefits
Workforce planning, retention
Change management, policy development
Manage risk and improve work environment/culture through proactive employee relations activities
Implement and deliver performance management program to employees and collaborate with Global HR on enhancements
Recruitment
Act as a strategic advisor to clients in issues relating to recruiting and the marketplace
Assist in business and staff planning: data identification, gathering and reporting, statistical modeling and analysis
Consults with management to prepare staffing budgets and plans, projections and employment policies, procedures and practices
Determine need to engage retained search firm(s) and manage contingency search firm relationships
Develops and directs recruiting agencies’ in developing sources of qualified applicants, screening applicants, scheduling and conducting interviews, and evaluating applicant qualifications
Generate qualified candidates through cost-effective efforts by utilizing alternative sourcing avenues such as employee referrals, Internet, university and direct sourcing
Facilitate the hiring of targeted professionals
Ensure qualified recruiting staff is hired to meet hiring targets
Participate in recruitment, interviewing and selection of employees
Ensure hiring process is efficient, time sensitive, and meets business requirements
Develops and implements new employee orientation programs
