Responsibilities:

• Build a strong and world class team of system engineers
• Organize a high-productivity software team, based on Agile methodologies
• Deliver both small and big projects, from WEB to SOA.
• Assemble a QA team to ensure the quality on your deliverables
• Simulating large-scale software performance
• Architecting and Designing a very flexible platform
• Testing and characterizing new software products before release to the field
• Provide presentations and written analysis of system performance
• Support spec writes by providing technical analysis and test results

Qualifications:
• Ten+ years in engineering in a technology company
• Deep knowledge of building JAVA (.NET is a plus) SOA applications
• Knowledge of wireless technologies is highly desirable
• Ability to aggressively manage a regional team based in China while following direction from headquarters
• Ability to communicate at varying levels of technical detail with customers, business partners, internal marketing, sales, support and engineering staffs, in one-on-one and group situations.
• Proven ability to build and lead an engineering team. Strong leadership is a must.
• Proven ability to build scalable applications for critical usages, such as billing.
• Experience defining and executing testing strategies for complex applications.
• Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time, especially to the US.
• Engineering background/degree required, MS or Ph.D. preferred.
